A visionary in business and philanthropy, Roy Griggs continues to shape lives through service.
From the classroom to the community, Roy Griggs’ legacy of leadership grows stronger. Named
the Northwest Louisiana Champion of Service by Volunteer Louisiana, Mr. Griggs was recognized
for spearheading efforts to establish the region’s first Ronald McDonald House. His efforts raised
more than $9.4 million in just two years—personally donating $1 million.
The future Ronald McDonald House in Shreveport will provide critical respite for families with
seriously ill children, bridging comfort and care.
Philanthropy in Action
As Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser noted, Roy Griggs is not only building infrastructure—he’s
building futures. His leadership inspires others to give, serve, and believe in the power of
community.
“Mr. Griggs shows us what it means to lead with purpose and passion.”
