Roy L. Griggs
President & CEO
Roy Griggs is a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist who began his career as a McDonald’s crew member in Meridian, Mississippi, eventually becoming the first African America McDonald’s franchise owner in the city of Thomasville, Alabama. Expanding to the Shreveport/Bossier area, he built a network of 17 McDonald’s locations, employing over 800 people and generating $40 million in annual revenue. Passionate about economic growth, mentorship, and education, he established the Roy Griggs School of Business at Southern University at Shreveport, raising over $2 million for workforce training and scholarships. He has held leadership roles with the Caddo-Bossier Port Authority and the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, played a key role in funding Shreveport’s first Ronald McDonald House, and helped make Stonewall Baptist Church debt-free. A Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Inductee, Roy’s legacy is defined by leadership, perseverance, and a deep commitment to community empowerment.

Jonathan Reynolds is a seasoned financial services executive, entrepreneur, and community leader with over 24 years of experience in business lending, treasury management, and community development. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Carter Credit Union, Reynolds is a trusted advisor to CEOs and CFOs, facilitating access to capital and supporting business growth for national and international organizations. A proud native of Shreveport, Louisiana, and graduate of the University of New Orleans with a B.A. in Psychology, he also holds insurance licenses in Life, Health, Accident, and Variable Annuities. Reynolds is completing his third year at the Community Development Institute at the University of Central Arkansas, where he has expanded his expertise in economic and community development. An accomplished entrepreneur, Reynolds is the owner of Reynolds Resources and a partner in Louisiana Daiquiri Café, FAR Associates, and Nine23 Enterprises. He is also co-owner of 957 Daiquiri Bar in Accra, Ghana, and co-founder of FAR Development Foundation. Known for his leadership, he has been a guest speaker at financial workshops and panels for institutions such as the SBA, SBDC, and Southern University Business Incubator. A passionate advocate for small business growth, Reynolds was instrumental in helping pass Louisiana’s HB1005, now Act 194, during the 2022 Legislative Session. An active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he serves on numerous boards, including the Bossier Chamber of Commerce (current Chair), Shreveport Airport Authority, and Committee of 100. Recognized with honors such as Top Business Professional of the Year and Micro Lender of the Year, Reynolds remains dedicated to empowering communities, fostering economic growth, and inspiring the next generation of business leaders.

Kendrix Gilliard is an experienced engineer and business leader, currently serving as Interim Vice-Chairman Engineer at CenterPoint Energy, with over 16 years of experience in the energy sector. Kendrix has a proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency in energy solutions. His career also includes roles as Service Supervisor at BJ Services Company and Franchise Owner of Wing Zone, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership versatility. Kendrix earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and his undergraduate degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge, where he became a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Jean Mosley is a seasoned public relations and corporate communications professional with nearly two decades of experience in the McDonald’s franchise industry. A native of Belcher, Louisiana, and a proud graduate of Southern University, she dedicated 17 years to Griggs Enterprise, Incorporated/McDonald’s, where she played a key role in branding, economic development, and corporate-community engagement. Following the sale of Griggs Enterprise, she transitioned to Gilley Enterprise, Incorporated/McDonald’s, continuing her commitment to excellence in business and relationship-building. An active member of Hollywood Baptist Church and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Jean is deeply involved in community service and mentorship. She serves on several boards, including the Southern University Foundation Board, Roy Griggs School of Business Board, Xtreme Measure Women Business Center Board, and the Chef Orlando Scholarship Board. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she has been married to James Mosley for 47 years, is the proud mother of Jared Mosley, loving mother-in-law to Demoreall Mosley, and adoring grandmother to Auryn and Elaia. Jean remains passionate about empowering her community through leadership, service, and mentorship.

Sherricka Jones has 2 decades of finance expertise, including having managed over $2.5 billion as an investment banker and overseen more than $1 billion in annual operating and capital budgets for public funds. Mrs. Jones is an Associate Financial Advisor with RoseStone Wealth Advisors, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and in Business Administration from Centenary College, and a MBA from Louisiana State University Shreveport.
Mrs. Jones is the recipient of numerous certifications and awards for her work in Finance and as a female and African American trailblazer. Beyond her professional achievements, she is deeply involved in her community, dedicating many hours to volunteer work in the arts and business community. She is also a wife and mom of two.

Mike Busada is a highly experienced municipal bond and economic development finance attorney, representing state and local governments, economic development organizations, school districts, 501(c)(3) entities, and major corporations. With a track record of facilitating over $15.5 billion in capital investment, Mike has played a key role in some of Louisiana’s most significant economic development projects, including representing the state in one of its largest deals in history. He serves as bond counsel for local governments and school districts across Louisiana and is an active leader in the field, having chaired the National Association of Bond Lawyers’ (NABL) Governmental Affairs Committee and co-authored the Council of Development Finance Agencies’ Bond Finance Guide. Mike’s legislative achievements include helping amend Louisiana’s Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) law and writing the legislation for the Louisiana Competes Regional Economic Development Program. As a member of Louisiana’s Committee of 100 for Economic Development and the Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association, Mike is dedicated to advancing the state’s economic growth and financial innovation.

With an impressive career spanning over three decades in the field of accounting, Marcella dedicated 11 years as a Cost Accountant at AT&T and 24 years in Accounts Receivables and Finance Management at LSU/Ochsner. Marcella’s passion for education and professional growth drives her to actively participate in numerous community and volunteer programs, aiming to create opportunities for youth and fellow citizens. Judy Madison is a seasoned banking professional with over 34 years of experience, specializing in community reinvestment, financial education, and affordable housing initiatives across the Ark-La-Tex region and beyond. Originally from Opelousas, LA, Judy is passionate about empowering communities through financial literacy, credit counseling, and homeownership education. She partners with local, state, and federal agencies to connect families with down payment assistance grants, disaster relief, fortified roof programs, and veterans’ repair/modification services. Judy also works with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas to build affordable homes and supports numerous community development projects throughout Louisiana. A graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and UL-Monroe, she holds multiple certifications from NeighborWorks America in homeownership counseling, financial coaching, and more. Dr. Mary Nash Robinson is a veteran educator, school administrator, and consultant with over four decades of experience in education leadership, human resources, and community engagement. She has served in key roles such as Interim Superintendent and Chief of Staff for Caddo Parish Schools, Principal Scholar at Magnolia School of Excellence, and Adjunct Faculty at LSU Shreveport. Known for her strategic leadership and passion for student success, Dr. Robinson is a trained COMPASS evaluator, CIS Super User, and SUPES Academy Fellow. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University and Theological Seminary and a Master’s of Education +30 in School Administration from Louisiana State University. Alex Washington is an accomplished attorney with over two decades of legal experience and a deep commitment to serving his community. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern State University and his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law School in 1999. Throughout his career, he has held several key legal positions, including serving as a clerk for the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, Assistant District Attorney, and Assistant Parish Attorney for the Caddo Parish Commission. He also worked as a criminal defense attorney for the Indigent Defender’s Office in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and served as bond attorney for the City of Shreveport and Shreveport-Bossier Port Commission. Currently, Alex serves as Ad Hoc Judge Pro Tempore in Shreveport City Court and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. A dedicated community leader, Alex has served as President of the Federal Bar Association in North Louisiana, President of the Black Lawyers Association of Shreveport/Bossier, and is a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Louisiana State and Shreveport Bar Associations, Federal Bar Association, and Harry V. Booth American Inns of Court. Sandy M. Cimino is a highly respected banking professional with 52 years of experience in the financial services industry.
